Membership

The annual membership fee is set at $40,000.  Member company receives reprints and preprints of technical articles and theses, is entitled to send one representative to the annual program review and Center-organzied workshops, and is assigned a Stanford faculty member as liaison.

Member company can place a visiting staff at the Center for an annual membership fee starting at $70,000. Visiting staff will be selected by directing faculty and must comply with Stanford's policies and guidelines for visiting scholars.  Visitor must also sign Form SU 18-A "Patent and Copyright Agreement for Personnel at Stanford Who have a Prior Existing and Conflicting Intellectual Property Agreement with Another Employer".

Direct sponsored projects ($100,000/year), student fellowships, and cash/equipment gifts to the Center and Center-affiliated faculty are also welcome and can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
